BÃ¥stad Masterclass - Strings (2026)

Description

Denna är kurs riktar sig mot stråkmusiker som vill utveckla sin teknik, repertoarkunskap och ensemblespel. Genom individuella lektioner, kammarmusik och seminarier får du möjlighet att fördjupa ditt spel och samarbeta med andra musiker i en inspirerande miljö.

Kursen vänder sig till stråkinstrumentalister som vill utveckla sina kammarmusikaliska färdigheter samt sitt spel vad gäller teknik, övningsmetodik och tolkning. En individuell plan utarbetas för varje deltagare vid kursstart, baserad på deras specifika önskemål. Undervisningen omfattar dagliga individuella lektioner, seminarier och coachning i kammarmusik. Deltagarna får även tillgång till konserter under Båstad Kammarmusikfestival samt tid för egen övning. Kursen avslutas med en offentlig konsert.

Kursen genomförs sön 21 - tors 25 juni med inresa lör 20 juni. Stråkkursen kommer att hållas under Båstad Kammarmusikfestival 2026. Kursen erbjuds av Musikhögskolan i Malmö i samarbete med Musik i Syd och festivalen.

Kursen är kostnadsfri. Boende och mat finns tillgängligt mot en avgift.

Antagning

Grundläggande behörighet samt särskilt behörighet: studerar eller har studerat vid musikerutbildning vid musikhögskola eller motsvarande, minst 7,5 hp i instrumentalstudier för sitt respektive instrument samt godkänt antagningsprov.

Urval: Platserna fördelas efter rangordning utifrån bedömning av antagningsprovet, samt efter önskad fördelning per instrumentgrupp.

³¢Ã¤°ù²¹°ù±ð:

ERIK HEIDE är en av Danmarks mest hyllade violinister, bland annat som medlem i Trio Ondine, som vann utmärkelserna DR Artist of the Year och New Generation Artists från BBC.

Han är konsertmästare i Danish National Chamber Orchestra och även gästande konsertmästare vid Hamburg Staatsoper, Oslo Filharmonien, Odense Byorkester med flera.

Parallellt med en omfattande solokarriär har han varit solist i Poul Ruders första violinkonsert på DaCapo Records och i olika nyare danska pianotrior med Trio Ondine. Erik Heide har varit professor i violin vid Musikhögskolan i Malmö sedan 2022.

HENRIK FRENDIN är känd som en av de mest framstående och mångsidiga skandinaviska altviolisterna idag. Sedan sin debut 1989 har hans långa karriär som solist och kammarmusiker tagit honom till scener över hela världen.

Han finns representerad på flera skivbolag, såsom BIS, Phono Suecia, Dragon och Db-productions. Som pedagog har han hållit ett stort antal internationella mästarklasser, och hans workshops, baserade på hans unika metod, har brutit ny mark. Flera av hans studenter har fått ledande positioner i svenska orkestrar. Sedan 2013 är han professor i viola och kammarmusik samt ansvarig för stråkinstitutionen vid Musikhögskolan i Malmö.

MATS LIDSTRÖM är en av Sveriges mest internationellt erkända cellister. Han har varit solocellist i Royal Philharmonic Orchestra i London och gästat som solocellist i bland annat Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra och samtliga London-orkestrar.

Som solist har han framträtt med många av världens ledande orkestrar, däribland London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Deutsche S.O. Berlin, Tjeckiska Filharmonin och Dallas Symphony Orchestra, under dirigenter som André Previn, Vladimir Ashkenazy och Maxim Sjostakovitj.

Sedan 1993 är han professor vid Royal Academy of Music i London och har hållit mästarklasser över hela världen. Mats Lidström är sedan 2023 gästprofessor vid Musikhögskolan i Malmö.

Requirements and selection

Entry requirements

General and specific entry requirements: is studying or has studied at a music college or equivalent, at least 7.5 credits in instrumental studies for their respective instrument and passed the entrance examination

Selection: Places are allocated in order of ranking based on the assessment of the entrance examination, and according to the desired distribution per instrument group.

Selection criteria

The selection for each instrument is based on an admission test consisting of submitted recordings, which are assessed by a jury according to the criteria of technical proficiency and artistic interpretative ability.

English language requirements

Most of Lund University’s programmes require English Level 6 (unless otherwise stated under 'Entry requirements'). This is the equivalent of an overall IELTS score of 6.5 or a TOEFL score of 90. There are several ways to prove your English language proficiency – check which proof is accepted at the University Admissions in Sweden website. All students must prove they meet English language requirements by the document deadline, in order to be considered for admission.

    - official transcripts and high school diploma (Bachelor's applicants)

    - passport/ID (all applicants) and
    - proof of English proficiency (all applicants).
     
  • Prepare programme-specific documents if stated in the next paragraph on this webpage.
  • Upload or send all required documents to University Admissions before the document deadline.

Citizens of a country outside of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are required to pay tuition fees. You pay one instalment of the tuition fee in advance of each semester.

Application fee

If you are required to pay tuition fees, you are generally also required to pay an application fee of SEK 900 when you apply at the University Admissions in Sweden website. You pay one application fee regardless of how many programmes or courses you apply to.
