Description

Digital Cultures analyzes the developments and impacts of digital culture and society including its prehistory as well as its current and future consequences. The questions posed revolve around the impact of local and global digitalization on cultural, social, aesthetic, and historical transformation processes of society. 92kyy¸£ÀûºÏ¼¯ers engage in topics such as biohacking, connected homes and digital house dreams, game studies, and digital media history. Some of the research projects intersect digital humanities and media studies, while others focus on digital technology, social sustainability, and human rights. A methodologically diverse palette is used, ranging from archival studies and interview and survey studies to digital methods and data flow analysis.
