Lund University is ranked a joint 12th in Europe, which is an improvement of one position compared with last year. In total, this year's ranking covers more than 950 universities in 42 European countries. Overall, this ranking shows that Nordic universities continue to strengthen their positions in Europe, with Lund University as the clear regional leader.
Lund's employer brand and focus on sustainability stand out
Lund University is already ranked as number one in the world in sustainability, according to the QS World University Ranking: Sustainability 2026. Lund University also excels in sustainability in the QS WUR: Europe, ranking first in the European sustainability indicator. In addition, Lund University has the highest employer brand reputation among Nordic universities, which can be explained by the university's long-term work within research, education, and social engagement.
